For Patrick Chan’s father, the Olympics are just the beginning

Lewis Chan has sat in the stands watching his son’s figure-skating practices for 13 years, but this morning’s practice might just be the most memorable.

Patrick, 19, will take to the ice to warm up for the men’s figure-skating short program in which he will be representing Canada this afternoon.

    Patrick it has been said already…you are fifth in the world, you got to skate at the Olympics. Not too many people can ever say that!!

    Eu sou brasileira, mas nunca torci tanto pra um país quanto torci pro Canadá lol
    mas o Patrick me chamou muita atenção, a cada salto cnfiante e espetacular era uma emoção boa, ele é espetacular , e durante toda a sua apresentação eu pude ver que ele é explosivo!
    o Patrick me fez ser um pouco canadense nesses jogos lol
