Djokvic’s not the only Sports Star with the Most
Most promising: Patrick Chan
The 20-year-old Toronto-born figure skater blew away the competition at this year’s World Figure Skating Championships. He won by more than 22 points — the figure skating equivalent of four touchdowns — and broke three world records in the process. After a disappointing fifth-place finish at the Vancouver Olympics, Chan set world records for short program, free skate and total score at the worlds in Moscow. He has said his goal is to “dominate” figure skating the way Roger Federer, Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning do for tennis, golf and football, respectively. We think he really meant to say Djokovic.
Honourable Mention: Dexter “The Next Usain Bolt” Lee. This younger Jamaican sprinter is the first athlete to win back-to-back titles at the world junior track and field championships in 2007 and 2008. He also snagged the world juniors gold medal for the 100 metres last year, making him perhaps the second-fastest man the island nation has produced.
